Exhibition caseback of the ELARA EL-01 skeleton movement

An open heart, by design.

Turn ELARA over and the caliber keeps performing. The oscillating rotor is engraved and openworked so the gear train stays visible while it winds. Twenty-five jewels, blued screws, and a hand-beveled bridge architecture you can actually watch tick.

  • Caliber EL‑01, automatic winding
  • Skeletonized front and back
  • Sapphire exhibition caseback

Three things we refuse to fake.

The skeletonized EL-01 movement

Swiss skeleton movement

The EL‑01 is openworked, not printed to look open. Real bridges, real wheels, regulated to within seconds a day.

Light through the box-domed sapphire crystal

Sapphire, both sides

A box-domed crystal up front and a clear caseback behind. Scratch-resistant glass wherever light can reach the movement.

A watchmaker hand-finishing the movement

Finished under a loupe

Anglage on the bridges, perlage on the plate, blued screws set by hand. The details you only notice up close are the ones we spend the most time on.

From sketch to seconds.

Five stages, one watch. Scroll to follow it down the bench.

01

Draw

The bridge layout is designed around negative space, so the movement reads as a single open composition.

02

Machine

Plates and wheels are cut, then openworked until only the load-bearing metal remains.

03

Finish

Each edge is beveled and polished by hand. Screws are heat-blued to a consistent tone.

04

Assemble

A single watchmaker builds the caliber from bare plate to running movement at one bench.

05

Regulate

Timed in five positions over several days until it holds rate, then cased and sealed.

ELARA in Brushed Steel

Pick your metal.

One caliber, three finishes. Each is a limited first-series run, individually numbered on the caseback.

ELARA worn on the wrist with a tailored suit

It wears like a watch you
grow old with.

39mm of case, 9.8mm thin, on a tapered bracelet that sits flat under a cuff. Quiet enough for the office, alive enough that you keep flipping it over.

What the first owners say.

"I have pieces ten times the price that get half the wrist time. The open caseback alone makes me late for things."
Marcus HalvorsenCollector, Oslo
"Photos do not do the finishing justice. Under a loupe the beveling is genuinely clean. This is not a fashion watch."
Priya NandakumarWatchmaker, Singapore
"Bought the steel, wore it for a week, came back for the blue. The reserve process took about two minutes."
Daniel OkaforArchitect, London

The details that matter.

How accurate is the movement?

Each EL‑01 is regulated in five positions and leaves the bench running within a few seconds a day, well inside chronometer-adjacent tolerance for an automatic at this price.

Is it water resistant?

Rated to 50 meters. It will shrug off rain, hand-washing, and a splash at the sink. It is not built for diving, and the exhibition caseback is sealed with a screw-down gasket.

What does the warranty cover?

Five years, international, covering the movement and any manufacturing defect. Servicing intervals run roughly every four to five years, the same as the Swiss houses.

When does it ship?

The first series is assembled to order. Reserve now, pay the balance at dispatch, and your numbered piece ships inside eight weeks with free insured delivery.

Can I return it?

Yes. Wear it for 14 days. If it does not earn its place on your wrist, send it back for a full refund, no restocking fee.
